Chateauneuf du Pape Tasting - Saturday June 28th - 19:00

£35.00
1 available

We’re delighted to rerun our Chateauneuf session ! This was France’s very first appellation and remains (perhaps) its most recognisable one, not least thanks to its distinctive bottle with it’s mysterious cross keys.

13 different grape varieties are permitted in this noble red, but there’s also a fascinating white version. Over 200 producers work the appellation’s multitude of terroirs, usually anchoring their blends around peppery, raspberry-tinged Grenache…but the style, depth and complexity of their offerings can vary enormously. And then there are the supermarket versions, which can just as easily disappoint as delight.

Join Jamie on a tour of the very best that Chateuneuf du Pape has to offer!
