Boon Oude Geuze
Boon Oude Geuze is a bottle-conditioned blend of 1-, 2-, and 3-year-old lambics fermented with wild airborne yeasts native to the Senne Valley. It's complex, funky, tart, and utterly authentic—a genuine Belgian wild ale that rewards contemplative appreciation.
Nose: Complex, funky wild yeast character with horse blanket, oak, and subtle dried fruit. Slightly vinegary tang with honeyed undertones. Palate: Intensely complex blend of sweet and sour. Wild yeast complexity, earthy depth, subtle fruit, and tart acidity dance across the palate. Dry, refreshing, utterly distinctive. Finish: Long, dry, and tangy finish with lingering wild yeast complexity. Vinegary acidity and subtle sweetness fade into a completely unique conclusion.
