Del Maguey Mezcal Vida Clásico is handcrafted from 100% Espadin agave using traditional wood-fired copper stills and natural fermentation. Unblended and unfiltered, it captures the authentic spice, smoke and minerality of San Luis Del Rio—a benchmark mezcal with remarkable depth and approachability.
Nose: Spicy and smoky with hints of light citrus, hazelnut and mineral undertones. Leather and smoke initial notes, evolving into lavender, mint and earthy agave character. Palate: Spiced, fruity entry with cooling menthol sensation and copper minerality. Sweet roasted agave, saline character and honey notes. Moderate smoke develops mid-palate transitioning into ash and bitter vegetal notes. Finish: Long, lingering finish with ash, smoke and vegetal spice. Mineral sweetness and subtle agave earthiness fade slowly.
