Wolfburn Northland Highland Single Malt
Wolfburn Northland is Scotland's northernmost mainland distillery's flagship single malt, matured in ex-bourbon oak with natural colour and no chill-filtration. Delivering delicate pear, cherry blossom and mint with subtle coastal salt, it's an elegant, rewarding expression of Caithness terroir.
Nose: Light and inviting with delicate pear, vanilla and clove. Subtle smoked wood undertones with hints of orchard fruit. Floral hint of fresh flowers and a whisper of coastal salt. Palate: Begins with floral hints of cherry blossom, evolving into surprising notes of fresh mint and lemon zest. Cracked pepper warmth and subtle oak influence. Oily, silky mouthfeel with gentle complexity. Finish: Long, oily, slightly smoky finish with lingering mint, pepper spice and subtle wood influence. Clean, elegant fade.
